From humble beginnings in country NSW, Australia, Wade earned his stripes working at a public investment company based in Newcastle and then onto a pivotal position within Avanade (a joint venture between Microsoft and Accenture) in London. On returning to Australia in 2006, Wade set on a path to build his business empire with a formidable team. Transport Network Australia was born, with just a mobile phone, a computer, an internet connection and a deep desire to make an impact.

BusCharter.com.au was then created in 2011 to bridge a gap in the market of online charter transport (and later with BusHire.co.nz in New Zealand). Together, this group of transport enterprises have delivered for some of the largest organisations in the world, including the US Navy, football teams Juventus and Atletico Madrid, and the single largest mining project in Australia's history, just to name a few.

In 2020, COVID brought both insurmountable challenges and opportunities for the world at large. Wade identified one such opportunity in the online wagering sector. TexBet was born in July of 2020 with a small, focused, but passionate team, that helped work towards scaling the business to $250m in just it’s 2nd year of operation. TexBet was later sold in June 2023 to betr (NTD Pty Ltd), a new online player in the Australian wagering market which was backed by Matt Tripp (former owner of SportsBet), NewsCorp and Matt Davey.

His newest venture, boldest. group was established in 2023 as his private investment office, focussing on a diverse group of assets including property and private/public equity.

While he weaves business and personal life together very well, Wade appreciates time with his family and friends and helping his team grow through education and experience.
